SMOKING CESSATION
Employees who successfully quit smoking will be reimbursed 100% of the cost of the smoking cessation program, up to a maximum of $100. Employees may submit a request for reimbursement after not smoking for 30 days, while also agreeing to repay the amount in full if they begin smoking within two years of being reimbursed. The “Smoking Cessation Reimbursement Agreement” form is available from Human Resources or by clicking on the link below.

Why Should I Quit?
Health concerns usually top the list of reasons people give for quitting smoking. This is a very real concern: About half of all smokers who continue to smoke will end up dying from a smoking-related illness; cancer, lung diseases, heart attacks, strokes, blood vessel diseases, and more. It is estimated that adult male smokers lost an average of 13.2 years of life lost because of smoking. And given the diseases that smoking can cause, it can steal your quality of life long before you die.
